Romagna style printworks

Reproduction of a traditional printworks of fabrics in Romagna Region.
In order to realize it, I have personally visited some still active printworks in Romagna Region. I have followed all the production steps.
The fabrics are realized using wooden engraved moulds. They are wet with a rust colour mixture, and, then, beaten with a stick.
In the workshop, I have included the moulds, which mainly reproduce elements of the nature (leaves, flowers), the fabrics not yet printed and a worker in operation.
After printing, the fabrics are dryed and, then, they fix the print.
At the right side of the room I have placed the already printed fabrics hanged for drying and the containers for fixing the color.
